Organization
This website is operated by Haali-Pular New Jersey, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, doing business as Futa Islamic Center of New Jersey.
Information we collect
We collect the following information directly from members and not from any third party:
- Contact details: name, mobile telephone number, email address, city
- Membership details: membership type, date of registration, any role held
- Contribution records: amounts contributed to association programs (monthly pledge, building fund, repairs, education, social events, external relations) and the date of each contribution
This information is used to maintain accurate contribution records, to notify members about their own accounts, to answer members who ask for their own balance or payment history, and to meet the record-keeping obligations of a registered non-profit. It is never sold, rented or traded.
How we use your information
- To send community updates, event announcements, and prayer time reminders.
- To send SMS text messages to members who have opted in (see below).
- To manage program registrations and membership records.
- To process donations and issue receipts.
- To improve our programs and services based on community needs.
Text messages
We may text you if you give us your phone number. We text about your own account. We may also send prayer times, program news, and community notices.
We send no more than 10 texts each month. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, other than the messaging service provider that delivers the messages on our behalf, which may not use that information for any other purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Access to member data is limited to authorized administrators and committee members who need it to perform their duties. We may share information only when required by law or to protect the safety of our community.
